Stem Cell Derivation Facility
A state-of-the-art clean room facility for the generation and storage of stem cell lines, and master cell banks, for future clinical therapies. More.
Flow Cytometry
The Centre has comprehensive equipment and expertise for flow cytometric analysis. We are equipped with a Beckman Coulter MoFlo high speed cell sorter, fitted with two tuneable Argon ion and a 635nm laser capable of analysing 11 or more parameters simultaneous on any given cell. More.
High Content Screening / Time-Lapse Microscopy
The Centre is well equipped to perform high throughput analysis of stem cell cultures. A GE InCell analyser 1000 can perform high content analysis on SBS format well plates (1-well to 384 well) to correlate data on proliferation, morphology and differentiation. More.
iPS Laboratory / Viral Transduction
The centre has a Class II containment laboratory for the production of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) from fibroblasts and other cell types. More.
