Clinical applications are being developed for the eye (age-related macular disease), the ear (deafness), and cardiovascular disease (stem cell coated stents).
Clinical grade stem cell lines and master banks are being generated in our Derivation Facility for this work. At a fundamental level we investigate the mechanisms of pluripotent cell derivation and development, and how stem cells may cause cancer.
